Mit seinem Projekt Totally Enormous Extinct Dinosaurs gibt Orlando Higginbottom den ersten Hinweis auf etwas ganz Großes – und übertreibt dabei kein bisschen! Denn der junge Mann hinter T.E.E.D. ist derzeit einer der heißesten Newcomer aus Großbritannien.
Der Sohn eines Musikprofessors aus Oxford wuchs mit klassischer Musik auf, für ihn sind Kompositionen von Johann Sebastian Bach die "schönste Musik der Welt", er war Mitglied eines Jugendchors und präsentiert mit seinen ersten Tracks eine hypnotische Mischung aus Elektro, Pop und House.
Die aktuelle Single "Garden" wurde als Werbesong für die Nokia Lumia 800 Werbekampagne ausgewählt. Das dazugehörige Musikvideo avancierte außerdem zum Hit auf Youtube. "Garden" wurde digital als EP veröffentlicht, auf der zusätzlich vier Remixe enthalten sind: Joe Goddard Ornamental Mix, Soul Clap Like It's '97 Mix, Hackman Remix & MYNC Remix.
T.E.E.D., der auf der Bühne mal im poppigen Glitzer-Indianer Outfit, mal im Dinosaurier-Kostüm auftritt, veröffentlichte diverse EPs und remixte unter anderem Songs von Lady Gaga und Katy Perry. Totally Enormous Extinct Dinosaurs wird Anfang 2012 sein Debüt-Album veröffentlichen.
Bis dahin darf man sich an dem musikalischen Appetithappen "Garden" erfreuen, der einmal mehr unterstreicht, dass T.E.E.D. ein Elektro-Soundtüftler ist, der die Club-Welt erobern wird!
