Here is your chance to join! We are looking for a (Junior) Financial Data Analyst (all genders) for our Finance & Controlling department. This permanent full-time position is available effective immediately.
 

Your key responsibilities:
  • You are responsible for strategic analysis of digital business including interpretation, contextualization and presentation of the results
  • You enhance the internal reporting structure including setup of new reports and visualizations
  • You conduct ad-hoc analysis to support the Digital Commercial Partnerships team in its daily business
  • You improve forecasting methods and underlying KPIs
  • You develop finance datasets and optimize data processing
  • You establish new KPIs to measure performance of our artists on new business models and platforms
  • You research and develop models/insights to help drive business objectives
  • You build, refine and improve new or pre-existing statistical models or processes
  • You prepare data sets for applications such as classification, modelling and clustering

Your professional profile:
  • You have a university degree in Computer Science, Economics, Mathematics, Statistics or a similarly quantitative degree
  • You are proficient in Python, Microsoft Excel (and VBA) and in writing complex SQL queries and experience in tuning SQL queries
  • You are experienced in Power-Point and data visualization (dashboards and reporting)
  • You are familiar with data mining tools and algorithms, machine learning and statistics (e.g. regression, decision trees, neural networks, collaborative filtering, clustering, survival analysis, graph theory, etc.)
  • You have a business fluent proficiency in English as well as at least conversational fluency in German in written and spoken
 
A plus, not a must:
  • You gained (first) professional experience as a Data Scientist, Data Analyst, BI Analyst or similar roles
  • You have knowledge of Cloud Environments (Google Cloud or AWS)
  • Your skills include experience in data modeling and ETL pipelines (workflow orchestration tools like Airflow)
  • It is not your first time working with development teams to productize work

  • You love being creative and thinking outside the box in the way we tackle and build solutions
  • You are capable of and motivated by tackling very loosely defined problems
  • You possess the proven ability to make rational judgements from the available information, by demonstrating an inquisitive and analytical approach
  • You are highly diligent and reliable and therefore capable of managing and delivering on multiple projects simultaneously and to a high standard, both autonomously and as part of a team
  • You are eager to maintain and build relationships with other analysts in the business, to maximise shared learning
