Universal Music is the market leader in the music business. The world’s most famous and most successful record labels belong to us. We’ve been writing music history for over 100 years representing legendary musicians across all genres. Our accomplishments are driven by our love for music, extraordinary artists and our ambitious team.
Digital Products and Innovation (DPI) is a network of small, autonomous product teams, who act as microenterprises. In order to be agile and innovative, we need degrees of freedom and agility! Empowerment and community are part of our culture. As the technical backbone we generate added value for Universal Music by solving our users’ problems. The DPI Team forms the digital foundation for our business and actively contributes to the competitive advantage of Universal Music.
As a major label, we want to be in tune with the continuously changing demands and trends of our time and thereby enable our employees to thrive and grow within a dynamic environment. In your new role you will contribute to unlock the full potential of our workforce by creating an agile organization based on employee empowerment and state-of-the-art methods.

  • You ensure the continuous increase of the digital and agile maturity of the company and its employees
  • You design workshops and tools, which enable our teams to collaborate more efficiently
  • Together with your colleagues you further develop our “Facilitation as a Service” offer
  • You constantly enhance our internal communities of practice (agile and product management)
  • You conceptualize and run internal trainings, e.g., in scrum, design thinking, design sprints, ideation, rapid prototyping, strategy, and collaboration

Your professional profile:
  • You hold a degree in (organizational) Psychology, Economic Science, Product Management, Business Informatics or a similar field, or were able to acquire the required knowledge through relevant work experience

  • You are experienced in agile project management methods (Scrum, Kanban) and user-centered ideation processes (design thinking and design sprints)
  • You are familiar with scaling agile methods and facilitating these through agile coachings
  • You’ve had the opportunity to gain experience leading agile, non-hierarchical teams, ideally in a user-centric tech company
  • You feel confident and natural reading, writing and speaking English; German skills are a plus

Your personality matters:

  • You are enthusiastic about transformational processes and about impacting those positively through your contributions
  • You have a passion for technology products
  • Your positivity inspires the people around you and enables you to transfer your knowledge in a highly engaging manner to the participants of your training- and coaching sessions
  • You are the embodiment of the agile mindset and as such the ideal role model for our employees
  • Constructive nonconformity is one of your strengths
  • You thrive working in interdisciplinary teams and you’d choose teamwork over heroism anytime
