Den Song “Lucifer” von XOV hatte Lorde als Filmmusik für “Die Tribute von Panem: Mockingjay Teil 1” vorgesehen. Der Song mit dem unglaublich starken Refrain erschien aber dem Filmstudio wegen seines düsteren Songtextes zu heikel. Lorde zeigte sich kompromissbereit, statt “Lucifer” wählte sie schließlich das Stück “Animals” für den Soundtrack des Science-Fiction-Bluckbusters.
