For our services offered via Facebook (e.g. the Universal Music Germany Facebook page or artist pages operated by us on Facebook), the use of the Facebook Messenger and WhatsApp (collectively “Services”), we, Universal Music GmbH,

Responsible for the processing of personal data of individuals living outside of the United States is for both Facebook and the Facebook Messenger, Facebook Ireland Ltd., and for WhatsApp, WhatsApp Ireland Ltd., each of them with the address: 4 Grand Canal Square, Grand Canal Harbor, Dublin 2, Ireland.

COLLECTION AND USE OF PERSONAL INFORMATION BY THE PROVIDER

We have no control over the nature and extent of the information processed by the Provider, the nature of the processing and use or the disclosure of this information to third parties, in particular to countries outside the European Union.

In what way and to what extent the Provider exactly uses the information in the context of your use of the Services, to what extent your interactions with the Services are assigned to individual user profiles, how long the Provider stores this data and if data is shared with third parties, is not conclusively and clearly answered by the Provider and is therefore unknown to us.

COLLECTION AND USE OF PERSONAL INFORMATION BY US
We ourselves do not collect and process any data based on the fact that you use the Services. However, if we share or reply to your comments or write posts that link to your profile, or if you contact us via the Services (e.g. via the Facebook Messenger or WhatsApp), the information submitted by you at the Services will be processed by us, in particular your (user) name, your telephone number and the contents published under your account.
ADDITIONAL NOTICE ON FACEBOOK MESSENGER
Your subscription to the news about the named artist from us via Facebook Messenger will not be completed until you have answered “OK”. To use the Facebook Messenger, an existing messenger account on Facebook is required.
Unsubscribe/Opt-Out and Deletion of your Information
You may stop the sending of messages by us by visiting your registration status in the menu under the tab “My profile” and then click on the button “Sign out” in the chat window. You will not receive any more news from us about the respective artist. You can sign up for the Service the same way anytime.
In addition, you may revoke your consent to receive updates from us about the Artist at any time by sending an e-mail to firstname.lastname@example.org
from the email-address that you use with Facebook. Please note that in this case you will no longer be able to receive news about the artist via Facebook Messenger until you start a conversation with your “OK” again.
You may delete your personal information by clicking on “Delete profile data” in the menu under the tab “My profile”.
ADDITIONAL NOTICE ON WHATSAPP
We run a WhatsApp-Messenger/Newsletter for some of our artists. We have engaged the company telegra GmbH, Oskar-Jäger-Straße 125, 50825 Köln as a technical service provider.
Your subscription to news about the named artist by us via WhatsApp Messenger or your consent to receive messages will only be finalized after you have sent the start-up word, which will be displayed to you after registration via the respective web form. To use the Service you need an existing account with WhatsApp. This might incur costs for Internet use at your network provider.
Unsubscribe/Opt-Out and Deletion of your Information
You may revoke your consent to receive messages in the WhatsApp chat window by logging out with the codeword mentioned in the welcome message. In order to unsubscribe from all WhatsApp newsletter subscriptions and to completely delete your data, simply send a message with the content “Stop” to the respective number. Your data will then be deleted, usually within 24 hours.
